I was looking for others who were as pissed off as I am at Google’s public profile  
requirement when I stumbled across your post. Couldn’t have said it better! I was  
outraged about how an app I’d been using in Chrome was behaving and wanted to post a comment about it on the app’s rating page. I was told I had to create a PUBLIC PROFILE containing my first and last name, birth date, sex, and provide a photo before I could do so. How dare Google FORCE anyone to expose their private info in order to have a voice!!! I was angry that the app was trying to FORCE me to  
Like it on facebook in order to proceed with an operation, which was in turn FORCING me into another PUBLIC PROFILE. Not exactly the same complaint as yours, but the sentiment you expressed is right on point. . . .Fuckers. Your eloquence made my day!

Does the safe search even work? Because the thing is installed in my Firefox but hasn’t worked since version 3. I just started using WOT for a similar effect.
