If you donât like the job, quit. That has nothing to do with the issue.
Nobodyâs telling you what to do with your body. But in a free country, not only are you allowed to do what you will with your body, but other people are allowed to criticize you for it.
And donât bitch about not wearing suits. In jobs where we have to wear suits, we have to pay for the damned things.

My 2 cents:
Woman needed to chill the hell out. I wouldâve balked at the unprofessionalism, but I wouldnt have taken it upon myself to approach the offenders. Younginâs will learn eventually.
I work with my boyfriend of 22 months. Itâs where we met. I love him more than life itself but I would NEVER EVER EVER lock lips or even TOUCH him in a regard more than a handshake while we are within the doors of our employer. Even the parking lot is iffy. We donât even have general public passing by, itâs an office setting.
When I go into his office, itâs ALWAYS for a work related purpose - to begin with. I may ask him what he wants for dinner that evening, but the pretense of work is there at least. Door always remains open. If I stop by at the end of the day, no one else around, just me and him, and I find out heâs got plans with the boys, then I tell him goodnight and be careful. No hug, no kiss goodbye because we are IN THE WORKPLACE. It doesnt matter if anyone can see or not, itâs just not done.
Everyone has caught on that we are together simply by conversations about vacations and trips weâve taken together. The President of the company (my direct boss = interaction every single day) has told us that we both get the Academy Award because it took him exactly 18 months to figure it out for himself.
Oh, and nobody wears suits in our office either. Professionalism is more than just the costume.

Excuse my ignorance but I thought you were lesbians? Either way as a young man I would like to see more girl on girl action in my fast food outlets, but to be fair if you are the manager of _any_ business you should conduct yourself in a proffesional manner. I know that you think its a crap job but if you feel that strongly why not leave? You should really do the job properley or find a different job.

We are lesbians. We are also planning a family.
Cory does her job more than âproperlyâ. She wasnât kissing me as rebellion against her crap job, she was kissing me because she loves me, she just didnât see it being that big of a deal. Especially since there were no customers to be served and she was caught up on her work. **Hosebeast** made a big, Doc Johnson production out of it.

I agree that I _personally_ donât really care about employees of fast food restaruants kissing each other, to be honest I wouldnât care about anyone from any proffesion kissing each other, however I do understand that _some_ people do. My point is that although a lot of people donât mind you have to cater to the ones that do particularley in a service industry. My workplace doesnât state that you canât date/kiss co-workers but I certainley wouldnât do it in front of clients. Iâm sorry but I sort of got the impression that because it was a fast food job that a similar level of proffesionalism was not required, basically I think that whatever proffesion I was in I would be aware that PDAâs may upset some customers. Ultimatley I think you are right and the woman sounds like a bitch, but as you can see from many of the responses some people donât like it and as you are in a service industry you are a lot more visible. Also sorry about not realising that lesbians can have children I just didnât think about it, I just thought penis + vagina = baby.

So, when you know a certain behavior offends a given person, you will go out of your way to exhibit that behvior in front of that person, intentionally offending them? Sure, maybe they shouldnât be offended, but why be an asshole and piss them off on purpose? Thereâs nothing in it for you.

Well, I tell you what. If you ever see me doing something you find reprehensible behavior for a social setting, why donât you approach me and inform me of your feelings, rather than stand there gawking disapprovingly, assuming youâre one of the people Iâve noticed doing this?
Perhaps then we can discuss why you think itâs socially unacceptable, and even ask others around what they think. That way, everyone learns.

Iâd just turn away from any PDA I didnât want to see, rather than gawk disapprovingly. Ideally nobody notices me averting my glance. If you do, though, and realize I donât want to see your PDA and further force it upon me, then there is a problem.

I second **danceswithcats**. Otherwise, this is bound to become an airing of The **Civil Defense** Show, which I feel is a little like Jerry Springer: entertaining for a very short time, but draining in the long-term.
