I have no objection to your use of powered lawn and garden appliances, especially in the quite reasonable daytime hours you mention. I’ve been known to use a few myself.
But one question: aren’t hippies supposed to be more into letting nature do its thing? I know it’s been 48 years since Woodstock and all, so I may be out of touch, but that’s how I remember the general ethos.
Yeah…I picked my username in about a second, after lurking about a year I felt a sudden urge to reply to a thread and went with what was on my mind at the moment.
I am most hippie like in my attitudes towards the environment. I err on the side of green space and wildlife. I catch and release spiders and bees inside my house. Actually I allow some spiders to co-exist in my living space. I think if you visited you would find me to be quite environmentally friendly!
