So, [Monday was the 46th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing](http://news.yahoo.com/buzz-aldrin-apollo-11-moonwalk-twitter-anniversary-191136299.html). Of course the CTers are all over the comments section. Said CTers are still beating the “It was a hoax” drum. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if each and every little thing those fuckwits say proves it was hoax weren’t so trivially easy to show is not what they say it is. Of course, I realize those clowns are morons, but their existence in force (and, yes, sadly, I have met Moon landing deniers in real life) brings up a question: How did they manage to make it through school? And to any poster who decides he or she is going to hijack this thread to spew more “It was a hoax” bullshit: You, sir/ma’am, are too stupid to breathe; it’s a miracle you’re still alive. Just had to get that off my chest. Personal note: When Apollo 11 landed on the Moon, my appendix burst and I then spent six freaking weeks in an Army hospital (I was a kid, my dad was in the Army). The nurse who was responsible for me in the isolation ward happened to be the niece of Astronaut Collins. I guess that makes me "part of the conspiracy, too, huh? ---

Of course it was a hoax. They simply [popped to the Moon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6MOnehCOUw) to fake the footage of a Moon landing. ---

So, if all the moon landings supposedly were faked, does that mean the various Martian rovers, and solar system probes like New Horizons, are fakes as well? Or, are we saying we managed to get those right; it’s just the manned flights that were faked? Is the International Space Station a fake, then? Likewise, I seem to recall a recent moon probe having taken detailed enough photos of one of the Apollo landing sites that the base of the lunar module and shadow from the flag were visible. Was that faked as well? How about the hundreds of pounds of moon rocks and all the hundreds if not thousands of scientific papers written about them: all based on fake data, and no one ever noticed? Just Asking Questions. ---
