# full frontal nudity on TV- who will be the first?

I’ve wondered about this off and on ever since I started watching _The X-Files_ and noticed that David Duchovny is really, really hot. If full-frontal were ever made legal for broadcast television, who would be the first actor to show the Full Monty? The first actress?
I thought for a long time that it probably would be Duchovny, after seeing him in a magazine photo covered with nothing but a teacup and saucer (God, I wish I’d clipped that) but since he’s currently not partipatng in an on-air first run show, I’m thinking probably James Marsters. Marsters has not exactly been shy about showing the maximum allowable flesh on the small screen. I think there’s maybe ten square inches of him that we haven’t seen. (Did SMG get to see the package? Would she look?)
In the actress most likely to category, I’m thinking either Heather Locklear or Pamela Anderson may or may not be Lee this week. I’m leaning toward Pamela.
The question isn’t who you would most like to see nekkid, the question is, who do you think would be the most likely to shed that last shred of clothing for the small-screen cam?

I’d suggest chosing the _network_ rather than the actor/actress. They make the rules.
I’ll wager it’ll be a network that rhymes with “box.”

If Jamie Lee Curtis has the chance I believe she’d drop 'em just for the hell of it! Drew Barrymore’ll do it for free!!! matter of fact I was watching latenight the night she flashed Dave. :eek:

It’ll be during “sweeps,” I can tell you THAT much. And if not on “Fox,” it’ll be when one of the other networks shows an uncut version of a “tasteful” major box-office movie. (“The Piano” on CBS in 2006?)
And they’re already showing ANIMATED nudity on Comedy Central (Mostly on South Park, but the “Crank Yankers” as well-Although I wish I hadn’t been the one to see it on the latter…_shudder_), which although it is a “cable” network, usually isn’t considered among the high-dollar “premium” networks.

If basic cable counts, then MTV2 has done it. Oh dear God. One night my husband and I were up very, very late, and we stumbled across a count down show of most controversial videos, hosted by that Andrew W. K.? guy? Is that his name. Anyway, all the videos were completely uncensored, including ones with, I shit you not, _wide open beaver_. I feel so dirty typing that. It was a hoot screaming it though. “Joel, come look! Wide open beavers!!!”
A Metallica video featuring strippers stuck out as particularly shocking to my virgin eyes. Well, not completely virgin, but I’d never seen so much flesh on a _free_ channel.

As soon as I saw this thread, he’s the first guy who came to mind. If and when it does happen, I’m sad to say it probably will be Dennis. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad to see the guy has a strong body image as well as a rather large set of balls, but that doesn’t mean I want to see them.

Radar O’Reilly was, IIRC, the first completely nude person on TV. I think, however, it was full dorsal nudity. But yes, there are at least two full frames of him with the towel down on the episode that got aired.
After that? Well, I think a PBS special on mammary cancer has had upper torso nudity.

Does M2 show the “sweetness”(I’m pretty sure it’s that song) video by Jimmy Eat World? I don’t get that channel, but I saw the video on the net, and I wasn’t expecting full frontal nudity (guys and gals!) in a music video…
As for on a TV show or movie, my vote is " Not Kevin Bacon" please god.

The Metallica video was for their cover of Bob Segar’s _Turn The Page._ The video “starred” if that word can be used here, Ginger Lynn Allen a porn actress from the mid 1980’s who has now made a “comeback” to porn. E! did a _True Hollywood Story_ about her a few weeks back.
Exactly which videos had the wide open beavers? I _really_ doubt that even MTV2 would go that far.

I was watching TV late one night Saturday morning (now THERE’S a oxymoron) when I switched past some female FFN. I realized a second later that it was probably PBS. I said “nah,” switched back, and lo and behold, there were showing totally nude models on a show called Egg. Well, needless to say, it caught MY perverted ass’s attention and I stayed tuned through a couple episodes, lest I miss something…
BTW, good show…learned a lot of good stuff…
