# Full Frontal Nudity

I’ve been giving this issue a lot of thought lately and have come to the conclusion that, in most instances, I am a fan of Full Frontal Nudity. I think most people are, but until now they have not had an opportunity to express their appreciation of Full Frontal Nudity in public. Here is your chance. Feel free to share an anecdote if you desire. But remember, this is about Full Frontal Nudity, not Full Strength Bleach–which is another favorite of mine but, mercifully, has never in my experience coincided with Full Frontal Nudity.

I refuse to do nude scenes. Unless they are integral to the plot. Or unless I get paid. At the very least I want to take my clothes off first. 🙂

I’m totally in favor of FFN, but only for men . . . and only for particular types of men . . . and no, it shouldn’t be voluntary.

Full frontal nudity is ok, but, there is something to be said for full backal nudity.

Any idea why male FFN is getting more commonplace in manistream R rated films but female FFN is becoming non-exsistant? The last female FFN scenes I can remember in a mainstream R rated film were from Eyes Wide Shut.

Many have a hard time telling the two apart. I mean think of the countless number of times you’ve heard someone referred to as [hung like a bleach bottle](http://www.growbabygreen.com/article_photos/bleach_bottle.jpg).

An example of Full Frontal Nudity which will stay for me forever is in Thunderbolt & Lightfoot ( [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072288/](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072288/) ) which I saw as a child. I think the Jeff Bridges character goes round to do some sort of odd-job for a woman and gets more than he bargained for!
It’s probably awful that film, isn’t it? I haven’t seen it since then.

Well, the lack of female FFN is because of the glut of free female FFN on the internet. Female FFN no longer sells movie tickets, and PG-13 movies sell more tickets than R movies in general.
As for male FFN getting more commonplace, I don’t know why.
Oh yeah - regarding the OP - FFN - I’m a big fan.

Yea, I don’t really have any particular desire to see either gender completely nude in a non-pornographic movie. I guess occasionally its used to good effect (Watchmen, for example, when it said something about the character that he no longer had much reason to wear clothing, or Schindler’s List where being stripped of their clothes said something of the degradations the Nazi’s victims were made to suffer), but when its just there to titillate, I find it distracting from enjoying the movie.

Eh. Frankly, I’m not terribly turned on by the male genitalia, unless said genitalia is attached to a male I’m already attracted to. I’m not turned on by the female body at all.
I’m basically a nudist, in that I think that people should be free to wear clothes or not as they feel like it. However, I do rather object to gratuitous nudity, because I think that it cheapens humans. For instance, I just rewatched “The Crying Game” last night, and the “It’s just a piece of meat” scene was almost completely necessary to the story. Probably the movie would have been almost as effective with a full back nude shot of Dil, and then an upper body shot (showing that Dil didn’t have developed breasts), but I think that they way they did it was the best. Plus, Jaye Davidson. Nude. Pardon my drooling here. My point is, even though this was some eye candy, it was put in primarily because it was necessary to tell the story, and to show Fergus’ shock at learning the truth.
In my opinion, stories should include everything that’s necessary to tell the story, or to get a laugh. And everything else should probably be cut out, because it detracts from the story.

I’m sort of coming at it from the opposite view ("I’ll take things that sound vaguely dirty for $200, Alex!'); make 'em naked or not naked, whatever fits the scene. Don’t make a big deal of it.
