The AFC west is the only Division to have all 4 teams with an above .500 record for their franchise history. ```auto Team Win Loss Tie % Denver Broncos 456 386 10 .541 Oakland Raiders 444 397 11 .528 Kansas City Chiefs 435 405 12 .518 San Diego Chargers 421 420 11 .501 ``` The NFC South is the only Division to have all 4 teams with a below .500 record for their franchise history. ```auto Team Win Loss Tie % Carolina Panthers 166 169 1 .496 New Orleans Saints 331 418 5 .442 Atlanta Falcons 330 432 6 .434 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 241 386 1 .385 ``` Super Bowl 50 matched the team with the best winning record in the division where all teams had a franchise mark of .500 or better versus the team with the best winning record in the division where all teams had a franchise mark below .500. Even though the Panthers have now won the NFC South three years in a row, they are still the only current professional NFL team to have never recorded back to back seasons with a greater than .500 winning percentage. If the Panthers can manage at least a 9-6-1 record this year, they will make the previous three comments in this trivia list incorrect. Go Panthers! ---

As an indication of how awful the Steelers were pre-merger, they are only 60 games over .500 all time. Conversely, the Browns have been so terrible since they returned to the league in 1999 that it’s hard to believe that they are 53 games over .500 all time. ---

The New England Patriots are 4-0 in the Super Bowl against teams that feature part of an animal on their helmet. (Rams, Panthers, Eagles, Seahawks.) The Patriots are 0-4 in the Super Bowl against teams that have letter logos on their helmet. (Bears “C,” Packers “G,” Giants “ny.”) ---

The Cowboys have a winning record against all three NFC East opponents (Eagles, Giants and Redskins) at their stadiums - Lincoln Financial Field, Metlife Stadium, FedEx Field. But the Cowboys have a losing record against the NFC East at their own home venue, AT&T Stadium. ---
