[/QUOTE] This reminds me of an episode of either Leave it to Beaver or Father Knows Best (or maybe another one…it’s ancient history). Anyhoo…the kids put a combo together in the garage and decided to press a couple hundred 45s and they were going to be famous, blah, blah, blah. But they accidentally left all their new records in the sun and they all warped. The Kid was all bummed out about it and winged one out the window in disgust, and it boomeranged or something, and they recouped some of their investment by selling the warped disks to the neighborhood kids or something. Man, I can’t believe I remembered something like that. ---

I canned some tomato sauce today, and ended up playing with the stems and skins that come out the end of a Vittorio strainer. They pack perfectly into something resembling a bright orange snowball. Challenged my wife to a tomatoball fight, but sadly she declined. ---

Long ago I worked for a clothing company (mostly shoes) called Genesco whose slogan was “everything to wear.” After I left there they acquired (or merged with, I forget which) Brunswick Sporting Goods which was distinctly non-clothing. So a buddy and I decided they needed to change the slogan to “everything to wear and throw against a wall.” Somehow that was rejected.
