I’m seeing a gastroenterologist next week: Dr. Brann. I sh!t you not. My mother once had a dentist named Dr. Paine. I once chose a PCP out of a book because he was named Worf. What fun doctors’ names have you run across? ---

We had a lovely surgeon who was Dr. Brain. Unfortunately for the ironic potential, she was an OBGYN. ---

I know a Dr. Doctor 😃 Not quite what you were looking for, but my mom always called her gyn Dr. Boobcheck. For the longest time, I thought that was his real name. ---

There used to be a veterinarian in this area named Dr. Bone, he was once partnered with Dr. Howell (Howl). They both may be retired by now. ---

I knew of an OB-GYN in North Carolina named Dr. Beaver. According to people who had worked with him, he had no sense of humor about it at all. ---

When I was a kid, our family dentist was named Dr. Achen. And yes, he did pronounce it with a “long A”. His office was in the same building as an obstetrician named Dr. Love. ---

There’s a doctor here in Madison named Dr. Bonebrake. Unfortunately, he’s not an orthopedic surgeon. ---

A colon cancer specialist has an office in a small sized medical building in our town. His office has a seperate entrance in the back of the building. There is a sign posted in the front of the building for his office that notes: “Parking & Entrance in the rear” ---
