I knew a vet named Dr. House with a personality just as charming as the TV dude but unfortunately not so brilliant. He had recommended putting the cat down when his junior partner suggested a check for diabetes. Properly dosed with insulin, the cat lived another 10 years. ---

I guess Doctor Spaceman (pronounced Spah-CHEH-min) doesn’t qualify here but it cracks me up every time. ---

My first pediatrician was named Dr. Safe. When my sister was fighting colon cancer, Dr. Doody was on the team. I went to a neurologist named Dr. Malatesta. ---

I don’t remember any details but there was some kind of a clinic in my town that had a Dr. White and a Dr. Wong. ---
