Yep. Looks like a nice little 9 hole course. The King Khufu Country Club (Restricted).
Yes (I think)
Yes, I think so. There is a small French research post and some (3500) sheep, and from what I’ve read, several abandoned whaling posts on the smaller islands.
They also have there own (indigenous) cabbage .
The islands appear in more fiction that I would have imagined given their relative obscurity.
But what I think is really cool is that the island is just the high point of an entire sunken microcontinent that was above the waters as little as 20 million years ago…

AS a postal worker, I can say that British addresses are my favourite. Do anything, but don’t have any numbers in it!

I posted in the wrong thread, sorry. The loop ramps on the Macau/China border switch cars between sides of the road. They drive on the left in Macau and Hong Kong, and on the right in China.

I was about to post the same thing. A golf course.
I had heard that the pyramids are basically in the suburbs of Cairo, but that golf course is only 200 yards away from the pyramid!
Hoo-boy.
Re: North Korea.
This appears to be the North/South Korean border, with a new-looking South Korean train station and road customs complex on the right. Not how the rail line dwindles to one track after crossing the border, and there appears to be NO traffic. I followed the road and rail line into North Korea, and they enter a town that appears to be half-built. And there is still NO traffic.
Somewhere to the northeast of here, I found what I believe to the the neutral Treaty Village between North and South Korea, but I lost it again.
