# Fun with predictive text

I’ve got a Nokia cellphone, and use the predictive text function when composing SMS messages. Often one has to scroll through several different words before coming to the chosen word. Sometimes this results in inadvertantly appropriate connections.

Here are some I found:

**Shots  
Riots  
Pints**  
(That’s how we like to drink around these parts)

And even more hilariously\*:

**Coal  
Anal  
Cock**

and

**Yanker  
Wanker**

Anyone got any more?

\*On review, I concede that none of these are, in fact, remotely hilarious.

If you have it on German and you start typing in _Karaoke_ when you get to _Karao_ it spells _Japan_. I thought that was kind of funny. But I’m easily amused.

I’m called Harry, and I end my messages with “TMB, Haz”

When you input ‘Haz’, you have to go through ‘Gay’ and ‘Icy’ until you get to it. That sucks.

Maybe I should just use my whole name.
