Bored, so I started playing with Microsoft’s [text-to-voice translator.](http://www.naturalreaders.com/index.htm) I selected: UK English Voice: Charles Speed: -3 and I enetered the phrase: “Fenster-Forking Buttwrinkle Twystnipple Barkingslut Pennypimp Dragknockers Jellybum crankytool honeynuts tootwhistler” Hee hee hee. I’m a child. Try that phrase in US Spanish, too. ---

[This was on gizmodo](http://gizmodo.com/5701485/how-to-make-google-translate-your-own-personal-beat-boxer) a few weeks ago. In a nutshell, it lets you abuse google translator’s “speak” feature to beatbox. But you can also use it to make your computer talk funny. ---

But it gets BigT wrong. It apparently ignores medial capitals. ---

I like the way the kindle voice-to-speach says “ebooks.” Makes it sound like an African herbivore. You’d think a device used for reading ebooks would be able to say “ebooks.” And I apologize profusely for the non-pornographic nature of this comment. 😛 ---

Is it just me or when you put the speed down to about -7 the voice sounds like Carlton the doorman.
