Please forgive me, but I don’t know how I to get back to a thread I previously bookmarked. Any tips?

Once you bookmarked a thread, you can click you avatar in the upper right corner, and choose the 2nd tab that is Bookmarks.
Or save this shortcut: [https://boards.straightdope.com/bookmarks](https://boards.straightdope.com/bookmarks)

While I am at it some other handy shortcuts:
[https://boards.straightdope.com/posted](https://boards.straightdope.com/posted) Shows the most recent threads you posted in.
[Straight Dope Message Board](https://boards.straightdope.com/tags) Shows all the tags for easy sorting of **Café** subjects.

This one is trickier: [https://boards.straightdope.com/u/\*\*username\*\*/activity/topics](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/ **username** /activity/topics)
Replace username with your username for threads you started.

Do you remember what the thread was called? You could look for that.
