My mother never remembers at what times where my brothers born, she always has to ask me. Last month would have been Dad’s 70th birthday. I didn’t learn until this weekend that my mother doesn’t like carrots. Now it’s gotten me wondering what else I don’t know about her. ---

I know next to nothing about my paternal grandparents: no names, ages. Never met them nor have I even seen any photos of them. I only know my father’s father died in the early 70’s (70-72?), I know he was an abusive drunk and that’s it. I know even less about my father’s mother. ---
