I’m going to have to go with the former Mrs. Miles Davis, the fabulous, the funky Batty Davis, with her track “[Anti-Love Song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47SmMvuS9Dg)”. First of all, just listen to it. That shit would make Stephen Hawking shake his ass. _furiously scribbles notes for iTunes purchases_ I do think Flashlight is right up there, as is Brick House. I saw some James Brown, but I don’t recall seeing Get Up Offa That Thing, which is definitely near the top of the list. And I have to throw some love the way of Groove is in the Heart - not only funky, but probably the only known Dr. Seuss reference in funkdom. ---
