Here’s mine to start: A female television anchor in Michigan, in reference to the previous evening’s snowfall, says to the weather man, “So, Steve, where’s that 8 inches you promised me last night?” :eek: The studio was in shambles… I just wish I had a cite… So, folks, which ones come to mind? And cites, if you’ve got 'em! ---

Not sure if that weather story ever happened; it might be apocryphal. I’ve seen it numerous times on the net. ---

[Snopes](http://www.snopes.com/humor/jokes/snowjob.htm) just classifies it as a joke, without any serious effort at debunking. They do note, though, that it’s at least 30 years old. ---

Although the greatest moment ever on television was Neil Armstrong walking on the moon, the funniest was the famous tomahawk throw by Ed Ames on Carson’s Tonight Show. –Cliffy ---

Geez, you guys killed the spirit in which the thread was started. My wife is from Michigan, and swears it’s true but it matters not. It’s STILL funny. So, that said, anyone else want to maybe get this trainwreck back on the tracks? ---

What about when Ashley Judd \* I think it was her \* walked across a live boradcast of an award show with a high slit in her dress, and no panties…I thought that was pretty funny. ---

Heard at the end of a [WWL](http://www.wwltv.com/) newsbreak while the “4” logo was on the screen: “Can we go home now?” OK, so it’s not all that funny but it’s one that I know happened. I had the TV on the right channel at the right time. ---

Clinton’s State of the Union address: “I’ve passed initiatives to make our communities more liberal…er…LIVABLE” and the funny thing is, he made that mistake TWICE!!! this from a guy who is normally a very smooth speaker. ---

I always liked the “Weekend Update w/ Kevin Nealon” skit where Chris Farley was attached to cables and was supposed to “fly” off at the end, but ended up getting tangled up in something. I think he eventually made it, though. I can’t even remember anything about the rest of the show, or skit. ---

I just saw a really good one about Jennifer Lopez (spoken by a Fox News channel anchor), but the site it’s on has pornography ads on it. How do we pursue this? Maybe we don’t. ---

You know how you’ll be watching TV and during a commercial break the station’s news anchor will come on and say something like, “Was the milk you bought for your baby this morning RADIOACTIVE? Tune in at 11 to find out!”? Once I was watching TV and saw them cut to their dignified old news anchor, who was apparently supposed to say something like that, but he was looking off camera ranting about something. All I heard him say was, “Well, who _cares?_” before they cut to another commercial. ---

I remember one from around 1980 on WTTG’s noon news. “The [something] are looking for a man with [bla-bla-bla, I’ve forgotten] and the voice of Satan”. Long pause. “Oh, excuse me, voice of SATIN!!” Laughed my ass off. ---

I saw one on Channel 5 in NY. Morning news show. One of the fluff reporters Cheryl Washington, I believe, did a recorded piece on air travel. After the piece aired, she was chatting in studio with the rest of the gang, and mentioned in passing that she had become a member of the “mile high” club with some steward, IIRC. The rest of the gang was aghast, and she had the classic line, “Are we still on the air?” Cut to commercial… they get back, and Jim Ryan, ever the pro, does his bit with no reaction to the prior events. Over to weather, and the weatherman says “I don’t think I can continue after that revelation!” Without a doubt, the funniest blooper I’ve ever heard. ---

A local news station was doing a report about increased airport security. According to the closed-captioning, the anchorwoman was supposed to say “baggage searches and **coat checks** will be among the new security measures,” but she said “baggage searches and **kotex** will be among the new security measures.” ---
