> [@Baal\_Houtham](#): > > A cat buffeted by an agitator while it slowly drowns is unfunny in the same way that an actual python swallowing an actual baby is hideously unfunny. But a _tiger_ buffeted by an agitator, while a boy wishes his bathtub had one, is comedy gold. ---

I can’t find a favorite–New Yorker, I think. A Japanese couple has come home. The room holds pretty much nothing but an overturned bowl of rice, and the caption is something like “Oh, no! The place has been ransacked!” ---

Apparently, it’s from _Punch_. Hard to find a good image of it online, though. You’re the best! I have no idea where I would have encountered it if Punch is the source. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/funniest-single-panel-cartoon-part-2/981307.md?page=8)
