Not so much an amusing name as a great example of vertical market integration: Jackson’s driving school and body shop. I kid you not. On East Hastings, around Victoria Drive. As Dave Barry says, I swear I am not making this up. ---

There’s a car dealership here called **Jim Slemons**. The license plate holders have the name on the bottom, all caps, kind of smushed together. Would you buy a car from a place called JIMSLEMONS? ---

A local massage (no, not the sex kind, you perv, just the physical therapy kind) is called **Nice to Be Kneaded**. I also have a couple of places nearby that are pretty mediocre: **OK Chinese** **OK Doughnuts** C’mon, guys! Show a little pride in your food! ---

Here in FL we have a T+A Produce Company. Used to have a “People’s Gas”. Took me awhile to get that. We also have a Jackson and Associates construction company, which isnt funny till a prankster graffities their sign and it becomes Jackson and Associates.
