# Funny SDMB ghost from the past....

So this week my husband and I have been clearing out my old desktop computer in order to give it to his uncle, whose even older computer gave up the ghost last week. On it, I found several old emails from an account that I haven’t had since 2001, among them a couple of comments from an SDMB thread that I had sent to my husband (though at the time, he was only my boyfriend!) Unfortunately the link is dead, probably one of those exiled archived treads, but I think this was the OP, and it had obviously cracked me up back then, as it did today.

I also found a bookmark to that glorious thread about [Halvsie, the two legged dog](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=51807) which I hadn’t read in a very long time. I only wish that little animation was still around!
