A verrry old funny song is _The Man that Comes Around_ I’ve never been able to find it on the web or anywhere else for that matter. My Grandmother had the record when I was little. I wasn’t supposed to listen to it, but, well, you know… “There’s a man that comes to our house, every single day. Papa comes home and the man goes away. Papa does the work and Mama gets the pay And the man comes around when Papa goes away.” I don’t remember the verses, but they were about each of the deliverymen that “came around.” The only snippet I can recall was about the milkman “I’d always have to hold his horsey outside the gate, 'cause he always stayed so awful long, the horse don’t wanna wait.” ---

My favorite “funny” song by a mainstream artist has to be “Song for the Dumped” by Ben Folds Five. It’s one that I think just about everyone can relate to. The Tiger Lillies’ [_Banging in the Nails_](http://www.tigerlillies.com/2003/index.php?main=recordings&trackId=9) and Hank Williams’ _I’d Love to Knock the Hell Out of You_ are a coupla favorites of mine, right now. And Tom Lehrer, of course. Gotta remember the classics.
