A couple of my favorites in south Orange County, CA- APOLOGY on a black BMW driven by a lady old enough to be my grandma (saw it at local Starbucks & took a phone pic). NAZGUL on a Ninja-type motorcycle. SSABMUD- seen in your rearview mirror, it says DUMBASS. For real- I took a phone pic of it from the next lane over! WEEWEMD- urologist at our local hospital. FEATURE on a VW Bug. KEYLIME on a bright green VW Bug parked at Irvine Valley College- I think it’s a professor. ---

One today is confusing me. It was a dark blue Toyota Corrolla and the plate said “Nevrblu.” This confuses me. Does it have some Pop culture reference I’m missing? 'Cuz, I mean, the car _was_ blue. . . ? 😕 ---

My state has a special license plate featuring a large lighthouse on it. Today I saw one of those with the plate number: PHROS. (I assume, a reference to [this](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lighthouse_of_Alexandria).) Seems kind of obscure for a license plate to me. Are they an archaeologist or just a nerd? Also, does that mean that PHAROS was already taken? ---

Just saw “SB TO PV” (spaces included), which puzzled me. Does it mean the car was a gift, from, say, Sam Booth to Pam Vinson? Or does it mean “Southbound to Puerto Vallarta,” or something else? Any guesses? ---
