The pie I make every Thanksgiving (which my mom used to make for me because I didn’t like pumpkin) is a chocolate macaroon pie. My family has always called it “hash brown pie”, because the coconut looks like hash browns when it gets toasted on top.

back in my Army wife days, ham and lima beans was called Beans and Motherfuckers.

A variable chicken dish consisting of chicken, pasta and whatever vegetables I could scare up was termed Pullet Surprise.

A delicious, juicy home grilled cheeseburger with all the toppings my heart can desire will always be a Slutty Cheeseburger to me.
