# Futurama question re: Amy's Chinese/ Martian

Does anyone know whether the language Amy uses when she is angry-- chewing out Zoidberg or something-- is actually any particular Chinese dialect (if so, is it more or less accurate and meaningful?), or is it gibberish?

I’m no expert. But I’ve seen enough Jackie Chan movies to state authoritatively that it _sounds_ like Chinese.

I have a friend who’s Chinese who assures me that yes, she is swearing in cantonese.
