Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom and Maurice LaMarche weren’t mentioned. I have to wonder what kind of success the show will have on Comedy Central, particularly if they program it to compete against the Adult Swim block. CC hasn’t gone for “brainy” comedy since, well, _Mystery Science Theater 3000_, and that was a looong time ago. Digits crossed … ---

The only drawback to this, from my personal standpoint, is that new episodes of _Futurama_ will almost certainly have the effect of causing my husband to urge me to dye my hair purple. Hubby has a big crush on Leela, and the sight of that perky ponytail always gives him ideas. The last time we had a _Futurama_-watching marathon, he was hinting around for weeks about purple hair. At least he doesn’t expect me to have eye surgery. ---
