# FYI database errors

I’ve been getting a ton of database errors over the few days. Fora won’t load, or the when I try to submit a post it won’t load and it finally times out and goes to a database error.

It’s been a lot over the last few days- so I thought I’d let you know!

It seems to be a problem that comes and goes – it gets better, it gets worse, but it never totally goes away.

I don’t know what causes it and I don’t know how to fix it. I will send mention of it again up the pipeline but I have no other information to give you.

When I get the database error screen hitting the refresh on my browser (Firefox 3) almost always brings up the page I was heading for, usually immediately.

Meeko, I don’t know why you’d be having a problem with PMs – nothing’s changed in the system.

You don’t mention what’s going on with you – what operating system are you using? What browser? What kind of internet connection do you have?

The individual experience can vary wildly and we have no control over what happens in these instances. At the very least we need more information to try to figure out why your experience is less than optimal.
