# G-Mail Forwarding Bug?

I’ve been having Gmail send copies of anything it received to my yahoo account, I’d now like to stop it doing this but it doesn’t want to. I clearly select “Disable Forwarding” and then Save Changes but when I go back to the settings afterwards its still forwarding! I’ve tried with two different browsers and I have the same issue. I’m able to change the forwarding to different e-mails, but if I try to turn it off, it simply reverts back!

Any ideas?

I was pacing back and forth this afternoon trying to fix my G-mail forwarding bug when I b.u.m.p.e.d. my head into a post.

Seems to be a bug. Happens to me too.

People were talking about it on the Gmail forum and one solution was to simply set it to a broken email address (like zzz@zzz.zzz) and Gmail should supposedly stop trying to forward email. I don’t know for sure whether it does, though.

Hope they fix it soon…

What happens if you tell it to forward it to itself? ie, forward the email to itself?

It doesn’t let you, unfortunately.
