He just comes across as a somewhat homicidal texan with a hard-on for Israel, a dislike of the dude who his daddy didn’t kill and a dislike of anyone who isn’t a member of the god-squad. Whether he is also pissed that a significant number of non-native-English-speakers have a better grasp of the language than he does is still up for debate. Still, he apparently doesn’t give a crap about world opinion so you may ignore us, safe in the knowledge the prez does the same 😉 ---

Most people bring their own prejudices to bear in most situations, so YMMV is probably the rule here. FWIW, I don’t see it as ‘dissing’ anyone. ---

I think that’s rather the entire point of the thread: George Bush will do whatever he needs to get re-elected, and to hell with what that does the the US’s international reputation. Referring to these doctors as “docs” gives the impression that the US elected a mannerless, poorly-educated bumpkin as our leader. Of course, this was already plainly in evidence long before this speech was made, so I don’t see what the big deal is, here. I’m more concerned about this administration’s rampant dishonesty, corruption, and war-mongering than I am about the president’s vocabulary.
