Yeah, they’re creepy looking, but honestly, they’re delicious and worth quite a chunk of change. If I were you, I’d list it on Craigslist or the like and get some money for it, since you don’t want it yourself. I am jealous. ---

However, I suppose I could let the folks I work with know about it and see if anyone wants it - provided they come and remove it themselves. It could easily feed 15 people at this point. Although I must say that I’m morbidly fascinated by the thing and how quickly it grows. I’d sort of miss the little fella if he goes… ---

Ah, now I know where Leaffanville is! 🙂 Do put the word out. I would be over in a heartbeat. Those things wither and die amazingly fast, too, and knowing when to harvest them is a bit of an art form. 'Twould be a kindness to let your friends now about it sooner rather than later. ---

When it first appeared, he stood up on his hind legs, took a sniff and backed away growling… ---

I just thought they sounded interesting and they grow on hemlock, which I have a ton of, so I bought the spawn. How much do they sell for? I’m doing the farmer’s market this year, and don’t have the foggiest idea what I’d charge for them. ---
