Some people have certainly put that one forward, DJ. I’ve read it in more than a few layman books on QM and teh big bang. But I’ve never read an actual account of why it takes consciousness to collapse something. AFAIK, it only takes an interaction which would yield quantum information. Surely these happen whether or not we press a button.
