**Butters,** I agree with you. If someone gives you money because they say it’s God’s will, accept it. Who’s to say it _isn’t_ God’s will? But yeah, next time, free service call, that sounds fair. I’m rooting for a New York team right now. I feel dirty, except that it’s against the Patriots, so to this Colts fan, that’s OK. ---

I used to live in a small town. Very small, there were more students in my high school than residents of the town. If there were three cars on the road that was heavy traffic. The one time I saw an accident that involved more than one car people actually came to see it. I’m serious. Most accidents were one car accidents where somebody drunk/speeding/careless hit a tree. That said, the lack of traffic was more than made up for by cows/goats/chickens/geese whatever in the road. Cows won’t move either, they stand there and stare at you. ---

You don’t have to stick with someone’s established nickname, you’re free to choose custom ones. 🙂 Deheathenated today, baked a party-size Stouffer’s lasagna. We ate half of it already, the remainder has been portioned out for lunches and such. Homework is progressing, I’m taking a breather. (snickering about the “bedpugs” comment) ---

I vote accept her kindness with gratitude, bank it, and he can repay it with a free service call or some such. I firmly believe that there is a God Who is willing and able to nudge us mortals if He so chooses, and I don’t consider it at all unlikely your kind customer received such a nudge based on info not available to mere mortals. ---

Mah video game Flashes just won their 11th national championship, this time over Cincinnati in the 2023 BCS National Championship Game. Ohio State, Miami, Notre Dame… they’re no Kent State! In the offseason the backup quarterback (Clint Irons) got slightly better than the awards-laden starter Clint Resario. I did something that would have been controversial in real life, and red-shirted Rosario for '24. Our now second-string QB is almost as good as Irons and Rosario, and he’s already had his redshirt season. I’m playing with injuries off, in any event: they were happening way too frequently back in 2010, apparently just to give Erin Andrews something to talk about and justify her salary. Back in meatspace, AKA the real world, we’re going to have barbecue ribs tomorrow, probably from the crock pot. OMNOMNOM. We will also stop by Wally World to pick up my prescription and get some Mucinex for ekemom, who’s battling the cold I so politely graced her with last week. ---
