I remember that joke, but honestly couldn’t remember if it was Gallagher or George Carlin. And I remember the punchline being “the cops could pull them over and give them a ticket _for being an asshole_.” ---

One of his jokes from the 80s that I thought was really funny at the time was one about Michael Jackson. It was something like “women kinda shy away from a guy wears one glove and sings ‘Beat It’” ---

I liked the part of his sledgeomatic bit where he describes all the wonderous things it can do. It’ll put the cat out all night. It makes french fries (but I swear you gotta crack that sumbitch just right) My dad bought a special of his on LaserDisc, I watched that thing a bunch of times when I was little.
