A plastic electronic toy that just wouldn’t fit together the way the bizarrely-printed instructions (English as a third or even fourth language) said it should. I finally pretty much ignored the directions and figured it out, but it was VERY frustrating. Approximate age you realized Santa wasn’t real? ---

Schindler’s List, for obvious reasons. I actually made it through the entire movie without breaking down, but when the descendants placed the rocks at the end I started bawling so hard I couldn’t leave my seat for about 15 minutes.
