The show debuted in 1999. Fin was added to the cast in season 2 and has stayed ever since.
I had trouble deciding how to answer the “Did the show win an Emmy” question. The show itself did not, but several guest stars did, as well as Mariska Hargitay. I determined that those stars wouldn’t have won Emmys if it hadn’t been for the show, so that’s why I answered that it won for other categories.
