I have heard from all the necessary participants for the sixth offer of round 3. Since at least one player has not accepted the offer we will continue with round 3. The next case opened is: Case 7, $400 This leaves the following values in play: 10 25 100 200000 The offer from the bank is now $34000. Any player who has not accepted an offer for round 3 should send me a PM saying “Deal” or “No Deal” before 8:00 AM CDT on Monday, March 22. I would appreciate it if you would put “Round 3 offer 7” in the subject of your PM. Once I have received a valid PM from all the relevant players, we will proceed to the eighth phase of round 3. Round 3 has ended with everyone accepting a deal. The first offer for $19000 was accepted by Mahaloth and Bootis. The second offer for $19000 was accepted by Taber, notfrommensa, and MadTheSWine. The third offer for $21000 was accepted by Larry Borgia. The fourth offer for $25000 was accepted by Biotop. The fifth offer for $31000 was not accepted. The sixth offer for $27000 was not accepted. The seventh offer for $34000 was accepted by Leaper ending the round. If play had continued, the next case to be opened would have been case 11 containing $200000. The offer would have been $40. The next case opened would have been case 15 containing $10. The offer would have been $60. Case 1 contained $100 and the other remaining case contained $25. So the standings after three rounds are: 1. Larry Borgia $42500 2. Biotop $37700 3. Leaper $34010.01 4. Bootis $31000.01 5. Taber $22360 6. Mahaloth $22010 7. notfrommensa $19860 8. Beginning of round 4. After this round, the field will be reduced to the top 6 players (and ties). The values for this round are the same as for round 3. The values have been randomly assigned to the cases and case 1 is set aside for the players. I will be accompanying my son’s fifth grade class to Washington, D.C. beginning Tuesday evening and returning on Saturday. I do not know how much internet access I will have while I am gone. I would like to players to try to check in regularly to see if the game has continued, but if it has not, please know that it will continue eventually. ---

taking note that the first offer of Round 3 is identical to 1st offer of round 4. Round 3.1 dollar amount eliminated: $310,756 ( Case 5, $750; Case 4, $1; Case 20, $10000; Case 16, $300000; Case 9, $5 ). Round 4.1 dollar amount eliminated: $301,501.01) ( Case 14, $1000; Case 19, 300000; Case 12, .01; Case 11, $500; Case 8, $1 ). I would have thought a ~10K difference would have made a little difference in the bank offer. ---

I forgot to reply to offer #2 in this round, while **MG** was on his field trip. he assumed that I was out of the game. And then I posted to the thread, and he IMed me saying that I hadn’t responded. OOPS. I said No deal. Turns out, I wish he had defaulted me to that deal.
