TBN: “Contained” has been redefined as “does not reach more than 50 miles inland.” So just because the first 25 miles inland from the entire Gulf is coated in oil does not mean the spill hasn’t been contained. TGN: This thread is ending today. Hey, I can hope, right? ---

Oh, the thread “ends” today, along with the rest of the SDMB, and all associated backups, when it is the target of a hacking attack by a bunch of transgendered AGW-denying creationists. The good news is that everybody moves to the Giraffe board, where the thread is restarted, and it lasts until the year 2033, when the Earth’s human population is annihilated by some alien zombies who are looking for some new brain recipes (well, the first part counts as good at least, either that or this post counts as sly attempt to derail the thread). ---
