Ship it my way – lovely study in greys skiing this morning, breaking through the snow’s crust, with tiny avalanches from the branches and mist covering the top of the Nor’westers in the distance. ---

An update: we had a high of +26 today; sunny all day; not a cloud in the sky. And we _still_ have snow, back and front. ---

Most yards up here in Saskatoon are clear, but we didn’t get hit with that last 6" snowfall. Plus there are still piles here and there. There’s one back of my apt block, a couple feet high and covered in some inches of leaves and debris, where the parking lot snow was cleared to. At one point the pile was over 8’ high. ---

**And Gorsnak scoops the pool!** (Or he would, if there actually was a pool. :)) Came home tonight - front 40 was snow-free! Went back behind the house, and in the last two spots, the snow was gone. Woo-hoo! Now, time to get the pump going to drain the backyard sump as the melt drains into it. ---

This Saturday we are supposed to rig our outrigger, only (1) it is supposed to snow, and (2) the harbour is still solid ice aside from the freighters’ path, which is nowhere near where our canoe is. ---
