Irritating. We’re watching, and it suddenly stops. Some sort of glitch in xfinity’s system. We’re not recording because I couldn’t figure out how to make it record the 6:00 showing, so we can’t try that. We’ll just have to watch the 9:00 show that’s recording tonight, tomorrow. ---

Shireen… fuck. Even in 2015 you can’t make someone riding a dragon look good. That whole last scene felt really hokey. Ramsay’s infiltration did too. I thought for sure Arya was going to be volunteered as a prostitute, but I suppose there’s always next week. ---

Presumably they came from the thousands of people gathered in the stands. They sneak in their fancy gold masks, watch the fights like every other citizen of Mereen, then at some prearranged time they put on their masks and attack. I think it’s strange that they had so many spears that they could throw at the dragon, but none that they could throw at Daenyras from the stands. Then again, they probably had to take the spears from the fighting arena itself. It’s rather difficult to sneak in a bunch of spears. So maybe all the ones with spears were on the ground and couldn’t get a good angle on her. It was fun to see the bloody, toothy maw of the dragon as it adorably sniffed Daenyras’ hand. It reminded me of the time I saw a bunch of blood soaked kittens eating a deer lung. ---

On a different note, I was prepared to flay (heh) people for being more outraged and quit happy over a rape than a little girl being burnt alive…but they dragged that out so long that I think there will be quite a few people saying that was the final straw. ---
