Fair enough, and great quotes, thanks much. I still don’t see Mel stopping the lynch mob, who from everything we’ve seen in the show is currently constructing a pyre on which to burn Jon’s body just to make sure he can never come back. ---

Jon being released from his oath via resurrection loophole would be kinda dumb. So it’ll probably happen. If The Watch hates Jon and the wildlings so much why did they open the gates for them? Let 'em freeze. ---

It’s not like they took a vote before deciding to open the gates. Whoever was in charge of that heard an order and followed it in the absence of an active conspiracy to overthrow Jon as leader while he was gone. Such a conspiracy probably didn’t get started until he returned with the wildlings. While he was gone it was probably assumed that he wasn’t coming back, or at least wouldn’t come back successful. Prior to that there was grumbling, but the idea of killing him was probably only in the heads of a few of them and they probably weren’t actively talking and planning yet. Once the wildings were actually behind the wall, they probably got serious. ---

How the hell did Dany not see or hear those riders in the empty wilderness, when she was just on top of a peak especially? All I can think is they followed or were spying on Drogon’s roost. ---

It seems unlikely that they would, but I assumed that Sansa and Reek survived that jump. Perhaps they landed in a snowbank, or a moat or a haystack. But I think they’re going to live on. ---

Ellaria and Oberyn’s daughters are absolutely infuriating characters, they are determined to start a damn pointless war to get “revenge”, revenge for what exactly is unclear. Oberyn died after entering fair lethal combat. EDIT:This is a problem with the series, characters you are interested and invested in die and new characters you despise replace them. ---

Just as Cersei thinks her day can’t get any worse, imagine her reaction when she finds out Marcella’s been poisoned to death. The Sand Snakes couldn’t leave without saying one more bit of cringeworthy shit that sounds like it’s from a bad slash fic. ---

By then Davos (Stannis’ friend, might have that name wrong) and Melissandre will be gone so no one we care about is left there. That will shift the focus of the North to Winterfell where Brienne and Pod are (and Reek and Sansa if they survived their jump). I believe Dany ditched the Ring because it was an indicator that she was married to the guy from Mareen. I assume she is planning to try to once again become Khaleesi. As soon as the Dorne woman kissed the Lannister I knew she was as good as dead. ---
