I think we may have had the full frontal discussion in another thread about movie nudity. For some, full frontal means a whole body shot of a naked women from the front. For others (mostly men), if it doesn’t include a spread shot, it doesn’t count as full frontal. Which I claim is ridiculous. We women can’t help it our stuff in neat and nicely packed away. ---

Back in the Red Wedding episode when Bran and Hodor were all hiding up in that tower there was a storm and Hodor was freaking out "Hodor! Hodor! Hodor!"until Bran had to warg into him… He thought he was about to die. ---

They aren’t nude, they’re wearing bottoms. What’s more, there’s no reason to show actual women’s crotch areas when merkins are so easy and effective. What’s the point? As you rightly point out, even without a merkin you wouldn’t see anything unless they shaved or got into some porn position. Game of Thrones (and pretty much the entire entertainment industry) pretty much never shows actual full frontal nudity for women. Far, far fewer than the number of penises shown. Not even close. ---

I just took another look at the previous episode. I didn’t notice it the first time, but Tormund’s wide-eyed practically slack-jawed expression as he sets eyes on Brienne for the first time is wonderful.
