My GF who doesn’t watch Thrones asked how I can be so sure the big battle is next week. I said if they did a “Meanwhile in Kings Landing” episode there would be a fucking riot. ---

The crypts are totally safe. So yeah, expect shenanigans down there. Also at the fireplace, a big deal was made about being forgotten, to have nobody alive who can remember you or your family, being a true death. Annihilating the crypts goes a long way toward erasing the Starks. I didn’t really have a problem with the Arya/Gendry thing. They had some chemistry and it seems natural they’d give each other a tumble. But after Ned died, I never saw anything in her that was remotely human. I’ve come to envision her as a benign sociopath whose every action was a step toward crossing people off her list. Seeing “what it’s like” at such an impractical time suggests a an uncharacteristic mission weariness. Unless it’s a ploy to get him off his guard so she can cut off his face (So what if she kills him? She’d be a lot nicer about it than the horror that’s coming) and use it as a disguise to get to Cerci. That’d be my little Arya. Although I still favor Arya using Jamie’s face for that confrontation. Bronn is gonna take Cerci’s crossbow, grab a handful of dragon glass bolts, hop on a dragon, and dogfight NK out of the sky. He’ll miss a couple times, barely dodge NK’s undeath lance, and then zap the old fellah’s dragon right in the mouth when it’s getting ready to do to him whatever it is an undead dragon’s blue fire does to a person. NK & dead undead dragon crash land by the old tree, crushing Theon, and then Bran & NK do a Harry/Voldemort wand battle. And yeah Brianne, Sam/Gilly/lil Sam, all the Wildlings, Unsullied, Dothraki, and miscellaneous Northern Houses–they’ve contributed their propellant to this rocket and are expendable. ---

If anything, the response to finding out that they’re related should be more like, “Well isn’t it convenient that we’re already in love, then?” ---

I’ll put this in spoilers since I’m not sure whether it’s from the show or is Forbidden Knowledge, but Dany’s parents were brother and sister. Rhaegar only married a Martell because he didn’t have any sisters available at the time. Otherwise he might have married Dany. ---

I predict that for any sports event in the world during the show, the fans will start screaming when a character dies: “Jaime is DEAD!” “Jaime is DEAD!” “Brienne is DEAD!” “Brienne is DEAD!” Or maybe even during an opera. ---

However, she graduated from the NYPD Acadamy 4 year ago and moved out of my house 6 years ago. She is a grown-assed, tiny woman who is my little baby girl and i DO NOT NEED to see her macking it with panty-dropping Gendry (seriously, he’s friggin HOT!). This had to happen, my own squeamishness and everyone else’s, notwithstanding. ---

I just recalled, he did the same thing to Littlefinger by telling him “Chaos is a ladder.” It scared the piss out of Littlefinger wondering what else Bran knew. But in that case, Bran wasn’t even present at the conversation between Littlefinger and Varys. ---
