Not so far, at least not individually. Put 'em all together, though, and viewers might be able to guess how it all ends.

Of course, the remedy for that is to not use spoilery episode titles.

I think the episode titles would have give away that the Night King gets wrapped up in episode 3.

The Long Night? I didn’t figure out he would die in that episode.

I’m talking about the Episode 4, 5 and 6 titles. (Or possibly just 4.)

EDIT: Fixed typo. Man, these forums are unreadable with ads. They keep stealing focus from where I’m clicking with the mouse.

Maybe they are doing a sneaky Breaking Bad season 2 title thing, but I don’t think that’s the case.

edit- I think they just don’t want any extra info getting out
edit 2- but why then have previews of next weeks episode? dunno, it’s so confusing

Yes, I posted something like this a few pages back. Tormund having to kill WightBrienne, or Jon WightYgritte, or Brienne WightPod, or Ayra WightGendry, would’ve been heartbreaking and dramatically very powerful.

Except we already did this with those dead kids attacking the wildling woman. The 2nd time would just feel cheap.

There was a scene at the battle of Hardhome where a WW walked through a burning shack and the fire around him was suppressed. I think that was the WW that Jon fought and killed shortly thereafter.

I disagree. That was a _creepy dead kids eat caring, maternal lady_. She didn’t have any history with them that we knew of. More importantly, _we_ didn’t have any history with her.

Jon v. zombie Ygritte would have been an entirely different sort of gut-punch.

Except we saw Jon burn her body.

Was Jonathan Ross one of the blacksmiths?

This would have been, and I honestly thought they were setting that up when she opened her baby blue eyes. But no, she got up and then we didn’t see her again. Weak sauce.

It would have to fall on Jon to fight her, too. He’d be all _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ _parry_ and then I guess a dragon would have to do her.

Yeah, I was thinking of this as well. It would’ve been a pretty fun twist to watch Smirky McNightKing raise his hands to animate a thousand new wights, watch them crash open their blue eyes, and then watch them fly apart into wight-dust as the dragonglass splinters they’d all slipped between their shoulderblades did their magic.

Overall I enjoyed the episode, but given all the spoilers I dodged all week (including XKCD and Washington Post headlines, ferchrissakes, people), I was expecting a little more emotional punch.
