To my knowledge all the major deaths have been lifted right from the books\*. I’ve read some comparisons between books and show and they are (so far) relatively minor. I assume Jon/Stannis/Theon/Sansa are similar.

  - Shireen’s death is not in the books but according to the directors Martin told them that she will die in future books.
