How in the world is that a spoiler? It can’t be one because I have no advanced knowledge and I watched Drago vow to go across the sea, kill Westros men and rape their women. ---

Well, I’m not going to repeat the post again, but talking about the next season and it’s nature, aside from what might or might not happen then, doesn’t sound like speculation to me. ---

It didn’t sound spoilerish at all to me either. It sounded to me like someone who hadn’t read the book speculated on what was to come, then was somewhat surprised by how the last episode turned out because it didn’t jibe with his speculation. ---

Well, I think winter’ll come before the end of this season and it will put the kibosh on the civil war that is looming and we’ll spend next season killing Wildings and white walkers. Should I have put that in a spoiler box? Speculation is not spoiling-- even if it turns out to be right. ---

Every single time they’ve talked about the winter coming, they mention how long the current summer has been, and how odd that is. This is called foreshadowing. It’s also speculation, since, as was somewhat clear from my original post, I’ve not read the books. If you just want to only rehash the episode, I recommend just watching it again. 3. The sea freezing over was speculation. Again, this was displayed by the fact that I was surprised that Drogo was going to sail, since my speculation was that he wouldn’t have to. The other hint to this was my “:shrug:”, which could also be read as “well, I guess I’ll throw that idea out the window…” ---

Another reminder, people: none of the Cafe mods are regular Game of Thrones viewers, so we’re trying to prevent the show from being spoiled for other people but don’t have the background knowledge. We’ve outsourced some of the modding of these threads to **Gukumatz** but we’re not going to ask him to babysit every decision involved all of these threads. You’ll have to cut us a little slack - and stop sniping at each other. ---

No kidding. I also want to say that putting that speculation in a spoiler box makes it LOOK like a genuine spoiler. As someone who’s read all the books to date, I assure you it isn’t - we haven’t even gotten there yet. So I think it should not have been forced into a spoiler box, it adds legitimacy. ---

I’ll bet the next episode is going to deal with the significance of the animal that Tywin Lannister has skinned. Chances are good that it won’t all be eaten by the army in time and they won’t have time to prepare a proper smoking of the meat, leading to the now famous line “sorry if I spoiled anything” Or, as the men of the Black said as they tried to buy up land north of The Wall: “it was just wild speculation” ---
