Purty knitting, **shadow**! I love the Noro colors and would work with Noro more if it weren’t so expensive! Actually, I’d probably pick up piles more alpaca before more Noro, but the chunky alpaca I made my scarf out of was $14/skein, which breaks my knitting bank for more than a couple skeins. Especially since I used it up in a weekend. That doesn’t keep me going long enough! HAH! Save the whales. I like it! I wanna go home. I’m trying to decide if anyone will notice if I leave 1/2 an hour early. Hmm… kinda doubt it. I might duck out soon. Yay. ---

Awwwwwww indeed… My kittehs have been living together for over 4 years, and they \*still \*don’t snuggle like that (the most Ariel will tolerate is a few licks from Morgan before she lays a smackdown on her). Colour me jealous. I’m home. Thankfully, this evening’s commute was much less eventful than this morning’s. I wasn’t sure what to do for din din, so I ended up making crustless quiche with random bits of stuff from the fridge that looked like they’d taste good together and that were fast approaching their various best-before dates. Will know whether or not my assumption was correct in roughly 10 minutes when the quiche comes out of the oven. **Shadow** , my condolences on the job search frustrations. If all the receptionist positions are filled up with Masters grads, I guess that means that the janitors must have a Bachelors, at the very least (preferably in Sciences, because everyone knows that a Bachelor of Arts ain’t worth the paper it’s printed on). Oy. ---

my head hurts - I just finished pulling together my tax stuff. I will end it off to may accountant early next week - which is a month earlier than I ever have before - I hope he doesn’t keel over from shock I have a few days off for a much needed poker and party weekend. Damn, just once I’d like to come in here and say I had a good day. Work sucked, although the day went better than Monday. I’m just dealing with a lot of stress, a lot of work, and tons of high expectations. I’m sick of it. There are lots of other minor irritations going on, money worries, and today, to add to the final irritation, I saw that my damn garbage company didn’t empty my can. My can is full dammit. I just want things to go smoothly dammit, and not have any worries for just a bit. I’m sick of fretting and it’s affecting my sleep. Dammit, dammit, dammit. Bah… I’m sorry to see **criminy** has left. I’m glad you had a good time on the cruise, **gotti.** I guess I should start dinner, although I’m not hungry in the least. ---

The Hordie will keep my furniture (it’s just a studio and stuff is either from IKEA or the Salvation Army, except for the built-in folding double bed) and he’ll be storing a couple of boxes for me (to be sent to Spain if I’m rejected by the Uni I’ve applied for, or kept until the fall if I’m accepted). Next week I’m in Glasgow until Thursday, then down to London for my Burfday and Dopefest, then to Saragosa, one week at Mom’s and then I have a one-week course in southern Spain. Yeeeeeee! ---
