One of the old guys Grampa hangs with (Jasper? The guy with the beard, anyway) locked himself in Apu’s freezer as cheap chryogenics… Apu made him an attraction to draw in customers, calling him Frostillicus. Don’t think it’s all that obscure… ---

That would be Apu’s name for Jasper after he froze himself in the cooler. With the collection of people here I doubt any Simpsons reference could be obscure enough. Good name and episode though. For whatever the opinion of a guy with fish named “Blinky” and “Bitey” is worth. Myself? Throw it into Google or [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com). Title character from an Ouspensky story. Hi-jack for **SpiralScratch** or any other Buzzcocks fans out there : Howard Devoto apparently based parts of “Boredom” off the Spiralscratch EP on the story. ---

Without Googling, I can say that **Splanky** is from _Mad About You_ – it was the early-childhood nickname of either Paul or his cousin Ira. Elmer Fudd’s mispronunciation of a certain word inspired **twickster** when it came time for her to select a screen name. **Linus Van Pelt** is the boy with the security blanket in the _Peanuts_ strip. **BJMoose** is a nod to Bullwinkle. Not that either of those are obscure to many, if any, **Dopers** … ---
