The whole point of the _Falcon_ is that Han can run blockades rather than having to talk his way past them. Harry Mudd would come out the other side richer than when he was first stopped.

If I may be permitted an aside, Harry is much more eloquent than Han Solo. “A little present for being so helpful, guard, buy something for the ladies.” as opposed to “Fine…everything’s…fine.”
