I guess this is where I should put this thread. But I was wondering when a game thread is opened up would it be inappropriate to put a sig line in them. It seems to me it might be distracting from the thread as a whole. I’ve been putting them there and have begun to think better… What’s the standard?

AFAIK there is no standard for game threads, other than the rule about having the Jello in the Jello pit for the naked Jello wrestling be in a flavor that nobody is allergic to. This usually rules out citrus flavors.

What do you mean by “game threads”? I would imagine that it would depend on the game.

I have no idea what you’re referring to, but it did give me the idea of posting early in the next Bricker Challenge, with my sig, then changing my sig to show all the correct answers and claiming victory. Not sure if I could pull that over on a smart guy like Bricker though.

I’m sure that **Bricker** is smart enough to remember the last time that someone pulled something like that. A fellow posted a convoluted marital advice question in his sig (something about him and his wife joining a _menage a trois_), and then changed it to something completely innocuous after he’d gotten about 30 responses. I’m pretty sure that the guy got banned and the thread deleted, so don’t try something similar.
