Hi,

I want to buy my cousins a gameboy advance sp but I’m not sure if South Korea has games and if the games will work with North American gameboy.

The EB games lady said it will.

Any ideas if there are games in South Korea for gameboy advance.
Also will it work with a north american gameboy?

thanks!

IIRC, none of the Gameboys have region locks. You may need a different power adapter to work with whatever the local current/voltage/prongs are, but the games will work on any Gameboy worldwide (assuming your cousins can understand English, or you’re getting games where reading skills aren’t an issue).

Its 100% compatible. Games are readily available in most department stores.

They’re definitely readily available at Yongsan Station in Seoul; a place called Space Nine (yep, that’s even the Korean name for it, pronounced just like in English).
