No, I was not, but we have a mutual friend who **was** lucky enough to be there. He probably would have enjoyed it more if he weren’t as gay as eighteen balloons. The best part was when they got to the “after-hours” part of the evening, all the Industry people had left and it was just lots of drunken glitterati stumbling around topless. M drifted up to my ex, said “nice shirt”, and pulled it off of her. Ex almost peed herself. ---

My groped-by-a-celebrity story: When a group of friends and I had our photo taken at a Star Trek convention a couple of years ago with Marc Alaimo (best known as Deep Space Nine’s Gul Dukat), he stood next to me and put his arm around me. I can’t actually say he felt me up, but he did run his hand up and down my waist in a suggestive manner, and tried to flirt. The sad thing is that, while I enjoy him as Gul Dukat, he’s not a man I find terribly attractive without the Cardassian make-up. On the other hand, Jeffrey Coombs, who was also there, turned out to be kind of a cutie in real life (I’ve never found him anything but creepy in any film or TV show I’ve seen him in); I would have been glad of a chance to flirt with _him_. **WILLASS** - you may count me as another person who’s impressed by your connection to Prunella Scales.
